JUDSAA CSR Policy
Introduction: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), is a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into a business model. CSR policy functions as a built-in, self-regulating mechanism whereby an organization monitors and ensures its active compliance with the spirit of the law, ethical standards, and international norms. The goal of CSR is to embrace responsibility for the organization’s actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities on the education, environment, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere who may also be considered as stakeholders. CSR is designed to aid an organization’s mission as well as to provide a guide to what the organization stands for and the principles it will uphold in dealing with society.

Source of fund: The sources of CSR fund is mainly donation and other income of the association.
Allocation: Indicative sector-wise yearly budgetary allocation would be as follows:

Education | 50% | Assistance to talented but disadvantaged students by providing scholarships, providing educational materials, setting up libraries, arranging career counseling, exposing job opportunities to the new generation, etc. |
Welfare of alumni | 30% | Financial assistance and social support in the event of premature death of an alumni, distressed alumni/family members affected by natural calamities, victims of accidents, other crisis etc. |
Natural calamities | 10% | Assistance to the destitute people affected by natural calamity such flood, cyclone, disaster, cold wave etc. |
Others | 10% | Support for health care, environmental, culture and sports activities etc. |
